Hi, I'm Sojin—a creative leader in Portland, OR. I've spent the past five years as Director of Brand + Design at a publicly traded B2B SaaS company, where I built the marketing design function from scratch and scaled it through significant revenue growth. Before that, I partnered with Nike, Meta, and Intel on brand strategy and UX research at creative agencies.

I'm passionate about creating conditions for exceptional work: clear systems, strong mentorship, and inclusive cultures built on clarity and belonging. These principles guide both my creative leadership and my work as VP of AKAP (Adult Korean Adoptees of Portland)—because whether you're developing designers or building community, great leadership is about creating spaces where people can thrive.

Outside of work, you can find me logging films on Letterboxd (Linklater and Wong Kar-Wai are in heavy rotation), sneaking Sicilian Pistachio ice cream when my partner isn't looking, listening to Australian bands like The Terrys and Skeggs on repeat, and on a rare occasion helping people with tips for Japanese Rural Life Adventure on Reddit.
