"In a world that reduces people to data points, I was finally given space to tell human stories. As a female minority in tech, that kind of representation doesn't just matter — it's everything."

Context

Meta (formerly Facebook) needed to reimagine how they presented their annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion data — moving beyond a static report to something that built genuine trust through storytelling.

Contributions

I led content coordination across the organization, working closely with Employee Resource Group leaders to ensure every community was represented. I developed a centralized collaboration document that streamlined feedback and kept internal and external teams aligned throughout the process.

Results

The project produced a multi-faceted, human-centered view of Meta's DE&I initiatives — putting the people behind the data front and center. Meta continued to publish their Diversity Report annually until 2025.
