Context
Nike's student-led pilot program at Ohio State was a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to inspire a culture of movement across campus. From 300+ applicants, 15 student brand ambassadors were selected and brought to Nike World Headquarters for an immersive workshop featuring guest speakers Kevin Carroll and Coach Bennett — modeling how students could create their own movement culture on campus.
Contributions
Developed workshop session materials and facilitated the cohort through idea conceptualization, prioritization, and execution planning
Supported strategy, on-campus marketing, and communications to help students disseminate their projects across Ohio State's campus
Contributed to website design, built to accept student applications, showcase campus projects, and validate the program to internal Nike stakeholders
Continued virtual support with the cohort throughout the academic year to educate, equip, and inspire their activations
Results
Despite the pandemic cutting the first year short, one project successfully launched in August 2019 on campus and the full cohort experience was documented and celebrated. The program's success drove expansion to the University of Texas and a full rebrand — ultimately becoming Nike U Move.
