The best brand experiences communicate a message worth carrying forward.

Nike's student-led pilot program at Ohio State was designed to inspire a culture of movement across campus. From 300+ applicants, 15 student brand ambassadors were selected and brought to Nike World Headquarters for an immersive workshop featuring guest speakers Kevin Carroll and Coach Bennett, modeling how students could create their own movement culture on campus.

The workshop was designed around one principle: the cohort had to leave feeling like insiders, not recipients. That meant building sessions around collaboration, diverse perspectives, and giving students real creative ownership over how movement culture would show up on their campus. The experience had to be worth carrying back.

I led the strategy and design of the workshop experience, developing session frameworks, facilitation materials, and the programming that guided the cohort through ideation and execution planning at Nike World Headquarters. I contributed to the website design built to accept student applications, showcase campus projects, and validate the program internally at Nike. Throughout the academic year I continued supporting the cohort virtually, helping them develop their on-campus marketing and communications as they brought their projects to life.

Despite the pandemic cutting the first year short, one project successfully launched in August 2019 on campus and the full cohort experience was documented and celebrated. The program's success drove expansion to the University of Texas and a full rebrand, ultimately becoming Nike U Move.
